Before choosing a supplier, understand what verified BM after-sales support actually includes.
Receiving the agreed assets or completing a setup service is one stage of the transaction. Your team may still need explanations, help understanding the handover, or assistance investigating a mismatch.
A phrase such as “support included” does not explain who will help, which requests are covered, or whether additional work costs extra. Asking these questions before ordering helps you compare complete offers.
Support should be described in terms of specific tasks.
Depending on the agreement, it might include explaining the delivered configuration, answering questions about agreed permissions, investigating a delivery discrepancy, or helping your team follow the handover documentation.
It might exclude campaign management, custom development, new integrations, or changes requested after acceptance.
Ask the supplier to identify both the included tasks and the boundaries of the service.
Support and warranty coverage answer different questions.
Support describes the assistance available. A warranty describes particular problems covered by an agreed remedy under specified conditions.
For example, a supplier might provide guidance after delivery while offering a separate process for correcting an item that does not match the quotation.
Ask for both descriptions in writing.
| Term | What to clarify |
|---|---|
| Setup assistance | Work included before or during delivery |
| After-sales support | Help available after handover |
| Warranty coverage | Defined issues and available remedies |
| Maintenance | Ongoing work performed under a separate arrangement |
| Additional services | Tasks requiring a new quotation |
Do not assume that a long support period means every future problem
